
Today Canon announced the CN-E14mm T3.1 L F ($5,500) and CN-E135mm T2.2 L F ($5,200) cinema lenses:
Today Canon announced four new PowerShot cameras at the 2013 CES show. One of them, the PowerShot N ($299), has an interesting design (pictures above). The tech specs: 12MP, 28-224mm lens equivalent, Digic 5 processor. All new cameras are currently listed at Adorama.

Canon is expected to have an announcement on January 8th, 2013. Expect two new L lenses: EF 35 f/1.4L II and EF 14-24 f/2.8L. Canon EOS 5D Mark II is now officially discontinued (current price down to $1599.00!) New Canon patent for a Canon 18-70mm f/2.8-6 lens probably designed for a new fixed lens APS-C camera:

DxOMark published their test results for the Canon EOS 6D camera. The sensor performance of the 6D is almost identical to the 5D Mark III. The Nikon D600 still scored significantly higher then the 6D. From DxOMark conclusion:
