Canon announced PowerShot N, ELPH 130IS, A2600, A1400 compact cameras

Today Canon announced four new PowerShot cameras at the 2013 CES show. One of them, the PowerShot N ($299), has an interesting design (pictures above). The tech specs: 12MP, 28-224mm lens equivalent, Digic 5 processor. All new cameras are currently listed at Adorama.

Canon teaser in France, new rumored EOS 7D Mark II specs

Canon France published the above teaser on their Facebook page with the text “Soon, we will share information that will change the way you look at the world”. The new product (obviously some kind of a camera) will most likely be announced during the 2013 CES show in early January.

The latest Canon news/rumors

Canon is expected to have an announcement on January 8th, 2013. Expect two new L lenses: EF 35 f/1.4L II and EF 14-24 f/2.8L. DxOMark test score for the Canon EOS 6D is out

DxOMark published their test results for the Canon EOS 6D camera. The sensor performance of the 6D is almost identical to the 5D Mark III. The Nikon D600 still scored significantly higher then the 6D. From DxOMark conclusion:
