With only few weeks left till Photokina, there are many news that I already covered on the other blogs or they are just not worth a separate post. Here is a recap on what else is new:

Canon has developed a new CMOS sensor with global shutter that will have improved dynamic range. No details were given when the new sensor will hit the market (mainly for video and cinema production applications):
One of the new cameras registered at the Russian government agency Novacert could be the just leaked Canon XC15 4k camcorder (pictured above via Nokishita). The XC15 will replace the current XC10 model. The official announcement will most likely happen during Photokina.

The most interesting new patent is for a Tamron 115mm f/1.4 VC full frame DSLR lens – I already covered it on NikonRumors. Sigma 14mm f/3.5 or f/4 lens patent for APS-C mirrorless cameras with zero distortion. Panasonic has a patent for a 24-240mm f/3.6-6.5 MFT lens. Fujifilm filed an unusual patent for a 100mm f/2 […]
