Canon has a new CMOS sensor with global shutter

First images of the upcoming Canon XC15 4K camcorder

One of the new cameras registered at the Russian government agency Novacert could be the just leaked Canon XC15 4k camcorder (pictured above via Nokishita). The XC15 will replace the current XC10 model. The official announcement will most likely happen during Photokina.

The most interesting new patent is for a Tamron 115mm f/1.4 VC full frame DSLR lens – I already covered it on NikonRumors.
