According to Alphamountworld, Sony have conformed that a new firmware updated for their 24MP SLT cameras will be released soon. Here is a list of some of the reported issues for the S0ny a77 model. Today Sony Taiwan confirmed the upcoming firmware update on their website:
Several users have reported a clicking sound coming out of the new Sony NEX-5N during video recording (see above clip). It seems that Sony has acknowledged the problem and is promising a “performance improvement”. Here is a quote from Sony support site:
