Sony A6000 now $200 off, A7000 imminent?

The Sony A6000 camera is currently $200 off at Amazon and Adorama. Maybe this time there is really a new A7000 model coming out soon? Sony has a press conference scheduled for September 11th and forums are already predicting the announcement of the A6000 successor.

Sony updates: a7S for $1,799, a7RII in stock, alphauniverse.com, DxOMark test results

Sony a7S camera (grey market) is now available again for $1,799. The new a7RII camera is currently in stock at B&H and Amazon. Sony started a new community website alphauniverse.com. Semi-annual Sony Alpha lens sale is now live. Sony RX10 II and RX100 IV cameras got tested at DxOMark.

The Sony A7R II is now the best tested camera at DxOMark

DxOMark tested the Sony A7R II mirrorless camera and got a new high overall score of 98 (the D810 has an overall score of 97): The D810 still has a better dynamic range, but the A7R II wins with better color depth and low-light rating:
