Tamron announced a new SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD full frame lens for DSLR cameras with 4 stops of image stabilization (model A030). The lens is not yet officially announced outside of Japan. Shipping starts on February 23rd.

Tamron is rumored to announce a new SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD lens (model A030) on February 3rd. This is a DSLR lens and will be available for both Nikon and Canon mount (most likely a replacement for the current 70-300 version). Here are the specifications:

The already leaked Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD lens (model B008TS) is now officially announced (only for the Japanese market so far).
