The previously rumored Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 lens is now officially announced and will available in Nikon and Canon mounts (ZF.2 and ZE) in the second quarter of 2016. The retail sales price is not available, but given the price of other Otus lenses, expect new 1.4/28 to cost around $4,000.
