How low can you go: rumors point to a new entry level Fuji X-A1 mirrorless camera

Fuji-X-M1-mirrorless-camera

The latest rumors are pointing to another entry level Fuji mirrorless camera announced at the end of August. The new model will be called X-A1 and it will not have a X-Trans APS-C sensor. The camera will be sold at the WallMarts of the world which means a very low price point. The recently announced X-M1 body is listed at $699 - this will probably make the X-A1 to be priced below $500.

Ilford, the inkjet paper company, to file for bankruptcy (updated)

Ilford-logo
The Swiss website 20min.ch reports that Ilford is about to file for bankruptcy citing "significant financial difficulties". Apparently the company was not able to pay the salaries of its 220 employees last month (June). Note: this is not the Ilford UK based company that produces film, but the Ilford inkjet paper company located in Switzerland. Sorry for the misunderstanding, both companies have the same name and logo and I got confused.
