The Zeiss ZX1 camera is finally available for pre-order for $6,000 (the ZX1 was announced in September 2018). B&H also published an article, which means the camera is officially released. The camera has a 37.4MP full-frame CMOS sensor and comes with a Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2 lens, leaf shutter, and 0.74x OLED viewfinder. The price is significantly higher than its main competitor – the well respected Leica Q2 that is currently selling for $5,000. Here are the full technical details:
The TTartisan 50mm f/0.95 lens for Leica M-mount will soon be available in silver. The black version was announced back in June. Reviews of the lens can be found here. The official announcement is expected later in October.
