Additional specifications of the upcoming Canon EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera (UPDATED)




Canon confirmed some additional specifications of the upcoming Canon EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera (no US pricing yet):

  • 8K video with 30fps
  • no crop
  • internal recording
  • dual pixel AF available in all 8K modes
  • Auto Focus: body, face and eye animal detect

Here are the previously released EOS R5 details:

  • Newly developed full-frame CMOS sensor
  • 8K video recording
  • Up to 12 fps with a mechanical shutter
  • In-body image stabilization

And here are the rumored specifications (not official):

  • 40-45MP sensor
  • No touchbar
  • Larger battery
