Panasonic S1H will get firmware update for RAW video data output over HDMI on May 25th

Today Panasonic released the firmware update program for Lumix S1H RAW video data output over HDMI based on their announcement from September last year (just like the Nikon Z6/Z7 cameras):

“Developed together with ATOMOS, Ver2.0 firmware enables the output of max. 5.9K/29.97p and 4K/59.94p RAW (C4K 4128 x 2176 [DCI] 17:9 or 3.5K Anamorphic 4:3) video data over HDMI to an Atomos NinjaV, where it can be monitored and saved as Apple ProRes RAW. ”

Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE lens officially announced

The Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE lens is now officially announced – it has a new “Custom switch” for quickly changing various functions:

“Equipped with the Custom Switch, shooting and operation is more intuitive and simple. You can easily select various functions such as Aperture Control Mode from the Switch, and enjoy the shooting mode that suits your personal preference. More functions will be added through firmware update in the future.”

The price of the Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE lens is not yet announced, but it is expected to be around $400 (see all Samyang AF lenses for Sony E-mount).

Update: the lens is now available for pre-order for $399.

Venus Optics Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO lens now available for Nikon Z and Canon RF
