Additional specifications of the upcoming Canon EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera (UPDATED)



Canon confirmed some additional specifications of the upcoming Canon EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera (no US pricing yet):
- 8K video with 30fps
- no crop
- internal recording
- dual pixel AF available in all 8K modes
- Auto Focus: body, face and eye animal detect
Here are the previously released EOS R5 details:
- Newly developed full-frame CMOS sensor
- 8K video recording
- Up to 12 fps with a mechanical shutter
- In-body image stabilization
And here are the rumored specifications (not official):
- 40-45MP sensor
- No touchbar
- Larger battery
What else is new?
New: quick release set for camera straps

Vi Vante came up with a simple new solution for a quick-release set for camera straps with round strap lugs:
- The proprietary clip feeds right through the built-in side protection or clips directly to straps without
- In photos you can barely even tell there is a clip or anything in between the camera and the strap
- Extremely Strong 10mm Titanium Body Ring
- Proprietary Clip Sourced by Vi Vante
- Must be used with a half case or leather protection circles to prevent from friction with camera
- Works in compilation with straps that have side protection

Yongnuo is coming up with an updated YN450M 4G mirrorless interchangeable lens, Android-based camera with Micro Four Thirds sensor and mount
Yongnuo is coming up with a new/updated version of their YN450 4G mirrorless interchangeable lens, Android-based camera with Micro Four Thirds sensor. The main change in the new model is the MFT lens mount. The previous model had Canon EF mount. This is the result of Yongnuo recently joining MFT. The new model is labeled as YN450N – here are some pictures:
