Leica SL2 camera officially announced

The Leica SL2 camera is now officially announced with a new 47MP sensor, IBIS, Maestro III processor, 5.76MP OLED EVF, improved ergonomics and weather sealing. The Leica SL2 will be available on November 21st at a list price of $5995. Pre-orders are now open at Adorama, B&H and Park Camera (UK). The basic SL2 specifications are:

47MP CMOS sensor offering twice the resolution
Speedy Maestro III processor for up to 20 fps shooting
5-axis in-body image stabilization
Full Frame Cine 4k (60 fps) video recording
Top-of-the-line 5.76MP OLED Electronic Viewfinder
Larger and more detailed 3.2” touchscreen
Updated Wi-Fi with bluetooth
Dual UHS-II SD card slots
USB 3.1 Type-C port for tethering and power
IP54 weather-sealed full metal body made from aluminum and magnesium
Streamlined menu interface and button layout

Panasonic firmware updates for S Series, GH5, GH5S, and G9 cameras announced
