New: Thingyfy Pro X pinhole zoom lens




Yes, a pinhole zoom lens does exist thanks to the Chinese company Thingyfy. Ephotozine reports that at the 2019 Photography Show Thingyfy were showing their new range of pinhole lenses which includes also the world’s first pinhole zoom lens, the Pinhole Pro X (not sure that “Pro” stands for here).

Thingyfy pinhole lenses are sold at Amazon.

The new Sony Pregius S stacked CMOS image sensor with global shutter is intended for industrial use


Sony announced that it has developed Pregius S – a new stacked CMOS image sensor technology that employs Sony’s proprietary global shutter function with back-illuminated pixel structure to deliver both distortion-free, high imaging performance and miniaturization. The new sensor technology is intended for industrial equipment used in fields such as manufacturing, inspection, and logistics.

But today I wanted to talk about my works with Irix 11mm lens. “See more, get more”, as I call them. First time I use this lens I compared this a drone. Its odd comparison at first glance, but if you think about it when affordable drone machines came to market, photographers quickly adapt it for a new angle and new protective. Same places get different views. So same happens to me with that lens I shot a few places that I shot before, but this time I get more. And it’s like discovering a new perspective for the old locations.
