Nikon is rumored to introduce a huge price cut on their Z6/Z7 mirrorless cameras this weekend ($600 off the Z7, $200 off the Z6).

This is probably a direct response to the recent Sony price cut ($1,000 off the a9, $600 off the a7 II). The Nikon Z6 and Sony a7 II will now both be priced at $1,800.

Nikon will also release a new firmware update with eye-detection AF and more new features on May 16th.

The Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless camera also has some rebates, but they are not as good as the discounts from Sony and Nikon. The price of the Canon EOS RP camera already dropped to $1,299. Nikon is also rumored to announce a new cheaper entry lever full-frame mirrorless camera.

Leica just introduced new SL offers/bundles/discounts in the US.

Panasonic just released a new firmware update for their S1/S1R full-frame mirrorless cameras and I am sure a price reduction will be coming soon.

Panasonic now also offers a free 3-years warranty extension on the S1/S1R.
