The new Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art full frame lens to be priced around $500


The price of the Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art full frame lens will be ¥59,400 in Japan (around $540). Shipping for the Canon version will start on May 25th, the Sigma mount will be available on June 22nd, there is no info for the other mounts.

Pre-orders in the US will open tomorrow, May 11th at Adorama and B&H.

Tamron cannot deliver the 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens on time due to high demand




Tamron Japan issued an apology for not having enough supply to meet the demand for their Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens that is supposed to start shipping on May 24th.

The new Tamron 28-75mm lens offers good quality image quality (more reviews added to this post) for E-mount shooters for a price significantly lower compared to similar Sony/Zeiss offerings.

Yongnuo also has a new smartphone camera module (YN43)


In addition to the YN 60mm f/2 MF macro lens, Yongnuo also has a new YN43 smartphone camera module. Specifications or pricing are not available yet, but the sensor appears to be 4/3, while the lens mount seems to be Canon EF-S. There is also already an iOS app for the YN43.

Olympus is moving all camera-related production from China to Vietnam
