Update: the lens is now officially announced.
This week a new German startup company will launch the pictured above C.P. Goerz Citograph 35mm f/8 lens on Kickstarter. From the leaked picture it appears that the lens will not have any focusing mechanism. The new lens will be available for almost all available mounts. Stay tuned for details.

A new GoPro HERO 6 Black camera was registered today at the Indonesian Communication Agency:
Based on previous filings, the official announcement should be in the next 2-4 months.

A reader sent me this teaser that was posted on a Chinese message board – reportedly, this is a new full frame interchangeable lens camera from Sony that will be called a5 (I think the translation should be “world’s slimmest“). I would take this leak with a grain of salt – valid Sony rumors are really hard to come by lately.
