New Adobe Lightroom version expected to be announced tomorrow

I already reported that the rumored new Lightroom 7 (or whatever they call it) will be announced during the Adobe Max conference that starts tomorrow. As you can see from the screenshot above taken from the conference’s official website, in this keynote Adobe is expected to “unveil major innovation across the world’s best creative system including a new generation of Creative Cloud apps, services and assets.”

The new version of Lightroom will also finally have RAW support for the popular Nikon D850 camera.

Leica announces a new THAMBAR-M 90mm f/2.2 lens for M-mount rangefinders

The previously rumored Leica THAMBAR-M 90mm f/2.2 lens is now officially announced. The US price of the new lens is $6,495. Pre-orders are currently open at B&H and Adorama.

The design of the original Thambar lens has been almost completely preserved in the new Thambar-M 90 mm f/2.2. The black paint finish, the proportions of the lens and its aperture engravings in red and white are nearly identical, while slight modifications align with the design of modern M-Lenses. The most pronounced difference between this lens and the original is the single-coating to protect the glass against environmental influences and surface corrosion. Leaked pictures of the upcoming Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.2 PRO and 45mm f/1.2 PRO lenses

I already reported on the two upcoming Olympus lenses: M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.2 PRO and 45mm f/1.2 PRO – both were already registered with various government agencies. I expect the official announcement to be for the PhotoPlus show that will take place next week in NYC.

Olympus already has one fast PRO lens (25mm f/1.2). Olympus is also rumored to announce a new camera.

Irix will be attending the 2017 PhotoPlus Expo in New York City next week (from October 26th until October 28th) and they will announce a “new product” that “will not be a lens“. Here is a porion of the company’s press release:
