Fuji X10 to get a firmware update for “sensor blooming”

In their Fuji X10 test, when shooting at bright lights, Dpreview found “white discs” surrounding the light source that are caused by sensor blooming. Fujifilm promised a firmware update that will “lessen the effects of blooming”:

Sony to offer firmware update v1.03 for A65 and A77, lubrication for NEX-5N

New firmware v1.11 for Pentax K-5 and K-r ready to be released

Update: the new firmware v1.11 is now official for the  645D, K-5 and K-r cameras. Pentax UK has a new firmware version 1.11 for the K-5 and K-r cameras listed on their website. The download links are not active yet. Expect the firmware to be released in the next few days.
