Panasonic will have their CES conference on January 4th, 2017. This is when the company will announce the technical details and pricing of the Panasonic GH5 MFT camera. Panasonic may also announce one of their three new lenses for 2017. Here is what we know so far for the Panasonic GH5:

The price of the Panasonic GH5 MFT camera is expected to be around $2,000 (as much as the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III). The price of the Fuji GFX 50S medium format digital camera is expected to be under $10,000 with the 63mm f/2.8 lens.
A reader sent me these links to online retailers that have already listed a price for the new Panasonic GH5 and Olympus E-M1 Mark II cameras – if those prices are correct/true, both cameras will be selling for around $2,000 (the previous GH4 is now $1,497.99, while the Olympus E-M1 is now $1,099):

Here is a video recorded last week at the 2016 NAB show where Panasonic representative confirms (at the 5:44 mark) that the upcoming GH5 will remain a MFT camera and will not have a larger sensor (Super35/APS-C sensor):
Panasonic is rumored to announce their new 8k camera this fall (most likely for Photokina). In 8k photo mode each image will be 33.5 MP in size and you will be able to re-focus simply by touching anywhere on the image.
Tomorrow (February 24th) Panasonic will announce a new Lumix G Vario 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS lens (pictured above). Also: the Japanese website Nikkan reports that Panasonic will introduce a new 6K 30fps capable camera before the end of their 2016 fiscal year (March 31st, 2017).
