Adobe to increase the price of some Adobe Creative Cloud plans in North America

Adobe announced a price increase for some Adobe Creative Cloud plans in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The price of the Creative Cloud Photography will remain unchanged but I think it is just a matter of time until we see a price hike there as well. Here are the details:

Fuji price increase in Canada, Leica price increase in the US coming on May 1st

Adobe Creative Cloud price increase coming in the UK

Adobe UK announced that will increase their Creative Cloud prices (see current rates) in the UK on March 6, 2017 because citing currency fluctuations. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the price increase could be between 10% and 60% (update: the price increase will not be more than 33%):

Digital camera market forecast till 2023: units shipped down, revenue up

A reader sent me this graph from Credence Research that shows the global digital camera market revenue vs. units shipped forecast (2014-2023): The graph confirms what I already reported a few months ago: there is a trend of rising prices of photo gear and unfortunately what we have seen so far is just the beginning.
