An update on my previous post from last week: Yashica has a new teaser video for the “The Unprecedented Camera by YASHICA”. It seems that a new camera will be launched on Kickstarter in October under the slogan “Expect the Unexpected”. Here is the new video:
Some additional information on that Yashica “comeback” – a company in Hong Kong currently owns the Yashica brand and they currently sell smartphone lenses:
This is an interesting development – one month ago the Japanese camera brand Yashica (www.yashica.com) published a sequence of teaser videos indicating a potential comeback with the slogan “Peep into our Coming Chapter” (check some of the old Yashica cameras on eBay):
