Pentax K-30 UK price: £700, release date: June 25th

As some readers reported yesterday, Amazon UK had listed the Pentax K-30 for £699.99 on their website. The entries are now removed but pentaxforums was able to get a screens shot. The release date was listed as June 25th, 2012.

Pentax K-30 to be announced next week

According to Pentaxforums, the previously leaked Pentax K-30 DSLR camera will be announced next week and will be available in 3 different colors (black, white and blue). In addition to the specs reported earlier, the new DSLR is expected to have 11AF points and 100% viewfinder coverage. The US price should be around $700-$800 for body only.

Fujifilm wide angle conversion lens WCL-X100 samples and pre-order options

Fujifilm published several sample images taken with the new wide angle conversion lens WCL-X100 for X100 camera. Adorama is currently taking pre-orders for the silver and black WCL-X100 versions.

Rumor: Canon EOS 650D and new mirrorless camera to be announced next month

Two new Canon camera announcements are rumored for next month – EOS 650D DSLR and their new mirrorless solution. Two weeks ago, the first rumored specs for the Canon mirrorless camera indicated that Canon will probably go with an APS-C size sensor.

Canon to implement machine-only production by 2012
