Canon announced their new EF 200-400 f/4L IS USM 1.4x lens priced at $11799.00 (the case is sold separately for $649). The shipping date is listed as June 30th, 2013.

Two new Canon PowerShot cameras leaked

Two new Canon PowerShot cameras have been leaked form a recent filing in a Taiwanese government agency. Those are most likely the new products that will be announced at the May 31 press conference. Tamron patents a 35mm f/1.4 APS-C mirrorless lens and two new Canon patents

Tamron filed a patent in Japan (2013-83783) for a 35mm f/1.4 APS-C mirrorless lens (50mm equivalent in full frame).
