The first set of rumored Olympus OMD E-M10 specifications is already online:

  • Very small body (smaller than the E-M5)
  • EVF
  • Built-in flash
  • 16MP sensor (same as the sensor in the E-M5 with no PDAF)
  • TruePic VII processor (same as in the E-M1)
  • 3 axis stabilization
  • To be announced with a new compact zoom kit lens
  • There will be also a new 25mm f/1.8 lens

    No 5 axis stabilization? Wonder why. Didn’t the om-d em1 have 5-axis? Seems like this would be a direct successor.

      this will be the OMD entry model. And you could not improve the EM-5 without impacting EM-1 sales.

        A different stabilization system and shutter might prevent shutter shock, like the E-M5 and the E-M1 suffer from. The E-M1 more so then the E-M5.
