Quick update on my post from yesterday: the price of the new Mitakon 50mm f/0.95 lens from MXcamera will be $799. The lens will be available for pre-order on April 20th on MXcamera’s online store.

Zeiss is rumored to announce a new Otus 85mm f/1.4 lens for the 2014 Photokina show in September. Two new Otus lenses (including a fast f/1.4 wide angle model) were already mentioned last year in interview with Zeiss reps. Zeiss currently has only one Otus lens – the Distagon T* 55mm f/1.4.
