Sigma DP2 Quattro compact camera to be priced unde 1000 Euros, shipping starts in June

The Belgium retailer PCH posted on Facebook that the price of the Sigma DP2 Quattro compact camera will be under 1,000 Euros. This means that the US price will be under $1,000. Shipping should start in mid/late June.

J&R superstore in NYC is now closed, invenotry will be auctioned off

  The J&R electronics store in NYC is now closed and their inventory will be auctioned off in the next two days. I was told that the store will not re-open once the construction of the new building is complete.

Is Hasselblad in financial trouble?

Rumors are floating around that Ventizz will pull the plug on Hasselblad very soon (Hasselblad was acquired by Ventizz Capital back in 2011). If this is true, it probably means that Hasselblad will be up for sale again.
