Canon EOS 80D, PowerShot G7X II and SX720 HS to be announced soon

Canon will soon announce several new cameras and lenses:

  • Canon EOS 80D (replacement for the Canon 70D)
  • Canon PowerShot G7X II (replacement for the Canon G7X)
  • Canon PowerShot SX720 HS (replacement for the Canon SX710 HS)
  • EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM (replacement for the current Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS)
  • Canon power zoom adapter (no additional information available)

Here are the leaked specifications for the G7X II and SX720 HS (no specs for the 80D yet):

  • 1" 20MP CMOS sensor

  • Lens: 24-100mm f/1.8-2.8 with Image Stabilizer (IS), 9 aperture blades
