BCN Ranking: “catastrophic” 50% sales drop of mirrorless cameras in March because of coronavirus (COVID-19)

BCN Ranking reports a "catastrophic" 50% sales drop of mirrorless cameras in March because of the coronavirus - it seems that Fuji was the only winner last month (Google translation):

According to the BCN Ranking, which compiles POS data at consumer electronics retailers and e-commerce stores nationwide, sales of mirrorless SLR digital cameras in March were 49.5% YoY. The year-on-year rate of decline was 90.1% in January and 76.5% in February, but the situation has worsened due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

The year-on-year sales volume by manufacturer is also sluggish in tandem with the overall market. Sony dropped to 44.5%, Olympus to 54.9%, and Canon to 32.3%. However, despite the fourth largest market share, only Fujifilm grew 115.6%. From the beginning of the year, the top three companies continued to struggle in terms of unit sales, but since mid-March, Sony has penetrated it, recording over 30%.
