Canon working on 8k Cinema EOS system camera, 8K reference display and 120MP SLR camera

Canon announced that they are currently working on a new 8K Cinema EOS system camera, 8K reference display and a 120MP SLR camera that is probably based on the 120MP CMOS APS-H sensor that was announced back in 2010. New lens patents: Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS II USM and Fuji/Zeiss 50mm f/2.8 macro

Canon has a new patent application for a EF 35mm f/2 IS II USM lens. More information is available at Photographybay. The next patent is interesting – it’s a combined application between Fujifilm and Zeiss for a 50mm f/2.8 Macro lens designed for APS-C cameras.

Canon develops 250MP APS-H CMOS sensor, the world’s highest pixel count for its size

Canon announced the development of a 250MP APS-H-size CMOS sensor (29.2 x 20.2 mm, 19,580 x 12,600 pixels). Back in 2010 Canon made noise with a 120MP CMOS APS-H sensor. Full press release:
