Canon France published the above teaser on their Facebook page with the text “Soon, we will share information that will change the way you look at the world”. The new product (obviously some kind of a camera) will most likely be announced during the 2013 CES show in early January.
Canon is expected to have an announcement on January 8th, 2013. Expect two new L lenses: EF 35 f/1.4L II and EF 14-24 f/2.8L. DxOMark published their test results for the Canon EOS 6D camera. The sensor performance of the 6D is almost identical to the 5D Mark III. The Nikon D600 still scored significantly higher then the 6D. From DxOMark conclusion:

Magic Lantern was able to successfully hack the Canon EOS-M mirrorless camera and are now collecting suggestions for new features. It seems that the excitement for this camera is not very big in Canon’s community and priority will be given to the development of new features for the 5D Mark III and 7D cameras.
