The latest patents from Canon, Olympus and Konica Minolta

Canon filed a new patent in Japan for a 200-400mm f/4 and 280-560mm f/5.6 lenses with built-in teleconverter and image stabilization.

Tamron 10mm f/2.8 fisheye lens and other patents from Konica-Minolta, Olympus and Sony

Tamron’s latest patent is for a 10mm f/2.8 and a 10mm f/1.8 fisheye lenses for APS-C based DSLR cameras.

The latest 4/3 lens patents from Olympus, Sigma and Konica Minolta

Few new lens patents for 4/3 cameras: Olympus filed patents for 15mm f/2, 17mm f/1.8 and 17mm f/2.8 pancake lenses for 4/3 sensors. Sigma filed a patent for 75mm f/1.8 lens (150mm equivalent) for 4/3 sensors.
