Today Sony Japan issued a press release warning about supply shortages for some camera models (a6100). They even completely suspended some video and action models. This is most likely related to the devastating three-day fire at a Japanese high-end IC components factory I reported two days ago. Here is the translated press release:

Two new Sony digital cameras (1VY002 and 1VY003) have passed FCC certification. Both are equipped with Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 5. The two cameras could be the previously reported IWW186333 and WW728473 and one of them is most likely the rumored Sony high-end camera:
