In two days Leica is rumored to announce a new instant camera called "Sofort" based on the popular Fuji Instax platform. This is what we know so far:
- The camera can work with regular Fuji Instax film.
- Lens: Auto-Hektor 1:12,7/60mm lens (34mm equivalent on 35mm film)
- Three focusing zones: Macro (no distance in the info) / Standard 60cm-3m / Infinity 3m-infinty
- Selfie mode
- Three colors available: white, orange and mint
- The price will be 279 Euros
- A color film pack will be 12 Euros, B&W will be 14 Euros
- Two new Leica branded color and black and white instant film (Fuji recently announced it)
- Announcement on September 15th
- Shipping starts in November
