Canon officially announced in the UK the previously rumored EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens for the EOS M mirrorless system. The new lens was not introduced in the US.

In the next few days Canon will announce a new EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens that will be 22% shorter (87mm) and 31% lighter (260g) than the current EF-S 55-250mm IS STM. The new model will have a faster autofocus. The lens will also have full time manual focus.

Tomorrow (June 16th) Fujifilm will announce the XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS lens that has been on the roadmap for 2014. The new lens will be dust and water proof, it will take 67mm filters and will be priced ¥108,000 in Japan (around $1,000).
