Samsung Galaxy Android camera

After the Polaroind SC1630 and Nikon S800c, Samsung now also has its own Android based camera. Today the company officially announced the previously rumored Galaxy camera. Here are the main specifications:

Canon EOS-1D X now shipping

The Canon EOS-1D X is now shipping in the US and is currently in stock at Amazon. The top of the line Canon DSLR features 18.1MP full frame CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 5+ processors, 3.2″ LCD screen, dual CF memory cards slots and auto focus with 61 points.

Canon also released firmware update 1.0.6 for the EOS-1D X.

Samsung to release Android based digital camera

GSMarena reported that Samsung is working on a Galaxy S III-based point and shoot camera that will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Similar rumor was already circulated back in March. Samsung also filed a patent for a Galaxy based camera. The rest of the specs: 4.8″ SuperAMOLED screen, 10x zoom, 16MP sensor, Xenon flash, Wi-Fi and 3G + Wi-Fi versions.
