The next iPhone will probably have an 8MP camera

If you look at the EXIF data of this picture taken by an Apple employee, you will see that it was taken by an iPhone 4, but the rest of the information doesn’t match with the any of the current iPhone models:

“This (very attractive) photo claims to have been taken by an iPhone 4, but the rest of its EXIF data tells a different story: although the image has been cropped to 2235×2291 (5.12 megapixels), the original picture was a much larger 3264×2448 — or just shy of eight megapixels. What’s more, the lens was recorded as a 4.3mm f/2.4, which is closer to that of a point-and-shoot than the iPhone 4’s actual 3.85mm f/2.8.”

Rumor: Samsung NX20 delayed because of Sony NEX-7 EVF

Sasmung NX camera system

I received some information that the Samsung NX20 was delayed because if its EFV and the recent Sony NEX-7 announcement. The initial plans were both NX cameras to be introduced this summer. It seems that Samsung engineers wanted to do some final adjustments to the  NX20 EVF before the official release. The camera will soon be in production. Announcement is expected in the next few months.

The previous Samsung NX10 model is no longer available for sale.

“GC-PX10 allows you to capture scenes and discover what’s really there — through high-resolution digital stills at 60 frames per second, or progressive Full HD videos from which you can grab the best frame as a digital still, or with 300 fps high-speed recording to slow the action down and see what you’ve been missing.”
