Sigma-18-35mm-f1.8-DC-HSM-A-lensDxOMark-test-results

DxOmark tested the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM A lens for Canon mount ($799) and labeled it as the "best performing APS-C zoom":

"With the introduction of this model, Sigma has the best performing zoom of its type. The DxOMark score of 25 points puts well ahead of both the full-frame Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM and the Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD (though bear in mind those lenses become the equivalent to a 38-112mm on a Canon APS-C body)."

Here are few comparisons between the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and other lenses (even some primes):

Those are the first leaked images of the upcoming Hasselblad Stellar compact camera. Similar to the Lunar, the Stellar will be based on the Sony RX100 model. The major difference compared to the RX100 seems to be the Italian wood handgrip and camera housing material. The official announcement will be on July 26th. The price is expected to be between $1,600-$3,200 depending on the selected materials. At least six different grips, mainly made out of exotic wood, will be available:

The first unit is rumored to have the sensor and lens from the RX100MII camera (1" sensor and 28-100mm f/1.8-4.9 Zeiss lens).
