Panasonic DMC-FZ150 camera listed as discontinued

In addition to the Sony a900, B&H now lists also the Panasonic DMC-FZ150 camera as discontinued. The FZ-150 was announced in August, 2011 - this is probably the shortest lifespan of a digital camera I have seen - only 7 months.

Fuji to release a new firmware for the aperture chatter/clacking issue in the X-Pro1

The Fuji Guys hinted on Twitter that a new firmware update for the X-Pro1 that will address the aperture chatter/clacking will be released soon. Now if only Adobe can add RAW support for the camera...

Sony a900 discontinued in the US

After the Sony a900 was already discontinued in Japan and Hong Kong, now B&H has also listed the camera as discontinued. The a900 was announced in September, 2008. RIP.

Panasonic files a patent for in-camera image stabilization

Panasonic has a pending patent in Japan for in-camera image stabilization system. This solution will also prove image stabilization for third party lenses.
