Fuji X-H2 and Fuji X-T4 rumors

Some Fuji rumors from FujiAddict:

Fuji X-H2

  • Fujifilm will not make an X-H2 ever because it isn’t a unique enough product to sell well and Fujifilm feels it was a mistake to make. Instead, the Fujifilm X-T4 will get IBIS. This seems very plausible and while it is possible that the H line up could come back if Fujifilm can come up with a unique design for it they believe it is highly unlikely.

Fuji X-T4

  • It should be about 1/3 of an inch thicker and about 5-6oz heavier.
  • 6k60p and 10-bit internal
  • Anamorphic Ratio Support
  • Probably fully articulating flippy screen like the S1H

Sigma mirrorless lens roadmap for Canon RF rumored for 2020

First pictures of the new Meyer Optik Görlitz lenses

Bloomberg: Olympus may cut jobs, CEO backtracked previous comments that camera business was not for sale, saying that’s no longer the case

Ok, no rumors this time – this is coming directly from Olympus Chief Executive Officer Yasuo Takeuchi:

Olympus Corp. is considering job cuts as the medical device and camera maker pushes forward with plans to almost double operating margin in the medium term, Chief Executive Officer Yasuo Takeuchi said. “The issue of personnel will naturally need to be addressed,” Takeuchi, who was promoted from chief financial officer in April, told reporters in Tokyo on Tuesday. “It’s a strategy to improve performance, and something that will come about in due course.”
