Samyang is not working with Venus Optics (Laowa) on a new FE shift adapter

Ther are some made up rumors circulating the Web again about Samyang working together with Venus Optics (Laowa) on a new FE shift adapter. Venus Optics confirmed that such partnership never existed.

Venus Optics already sales several different Laowa lens adapters (more information is available here).

New Hasselblad XV lens adapter announced

Hasselblad announced a new XV lens adapter priced at $249:

The XV Lens Adapter is used to mount a V system lens onto an X System camera. The XV lens adapter widens your X system lens choices to include C, CB, CF, CFI, CFE, F and FE Lenses and Accessories. The electronic shutter must be used as no lens shutter control is possible.

Samyang will start making autofocus lenses for Nikon F-mount (AF 14mm f/2.8)

As already reported a few years ago, Samyang will start making autofocus lenses for Nikon F-mount and the first lens will be the AF 14mm f/2.8 (already available for Canon mount). Samyang also has the AF 85mm f/1.4 EF lens for Canon EF mount. The official announcement will most likely be next week.
