Few days ago I reported on a new Olympus 28mm f/2 full frame mirrorless lens patent. Today Egami spotted another Olympus patent filed in Japan for a 35mm f/1.4 full frame mirrorless lens. Just like the previous 28mm f/2, this 35mm f/1.4 lens is calculated for a sensor slightly smaller than a “real” full frame.
The Camera Store published a hands-on field test video of the Sony RX1R II compact full frame camera.

Sony issued an advisory for the latest RX1R II model ($3,298) – some cameras “may produce image files with unwanted light” (serial numbers from 6310198 to 6311127):

The replacement of the Panasonic CM1 camera smart phone that was announced today doesn’t actually have a phone functionality – the new CM10 is basically a “connected” camera that runs on Android OS. Panasonic calls it “communication camera” – the CM10 still has LTE communication capabilities, but it will not be able to make phone calls.
