The 120MP CMOS APS-H sensor Canon was on display at the 2015 CP+ show is nothing new – it was already officially announced back in 201o. The 2.2 µm pixel pitch sensor (29.2mm x 20.2mm, 13280×9184 pixels) can get 9.5fps “made possible by reading multiple pixels simultaneously at high speeds – a process Canon is calling parallel signal processing'”.
When Ricoh officially announced the development of the new Pentax full frame K-mount DSLR camera, the press release only included a picture from the front of the camera. Sigma announced the availability of the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary lens: the Canon version will be available in March, 2015 and Nikon version in May 2015.
