Adobe recently updated their website and apparently you no longer can purchase Adobe Creative Suite 6 as of January 9th, 2017. The only way to get the latest versions of Photoshop or Illustrator is with a Creative Cloud membership (see pricing):

Adobe released major Photoshop CC update

Today Adobe released a new Photoshop CC 2015.5 upgrade with content-aware crop, face-aware liquify, selection and masking space and other new features and bug fixes (see this blog post for the full list and demo of all new features).
