Olympus announces E-P3, E-PL3, E-PM1 cameras, 12mm f/2 and 45mm f/1.8 lenses plus a new FL-300R flash

Olympus announced the EP-3 ($900 with a lens), E-PL3, E-PM1 PEN cameras with a new FL-300R flash ($170) and 45mm f/1.8 ($400) and 12mm f/2 ($800) lenses. Olympus calls the E-P3 the fastest  AF interchangeable lens digital cameras. Video hands-on after the break:

New Olympus PEN teaser

Olympus likes new product teasers and this is their latest one for their upcoming E-PM1, E-PL3 and E-P3 models that will be announced on June 30th. Maybe they will reveal more as we get closer to the announcement date. Via DCWatch

The new Olympus E-PM1 “mini” will be the size of the XZ-1

As you can see from the above picture, the size of the new Olympus E-PM1 “mini” will be almost identical to the size of the Olympus XZ-1 camera. The E-PM1 is rumored to have a touchscreen, improved auto-focus, new imaging engine and sensor.

Olympus E-P3, E-PL3 and the new “mini” to be announced on June 30th, 2011

This is just an update to a previous post on the new E-P3, E-PL3 and the new mini-Olympus: digicame-info received some new information that the three cameras will be announced on June 30th instead of June 3, 2011. Olympus probably delayed the announcement because Sony will present their new cameras on June 3rd.
