The latest patents (Olympus full frame mirrorless lens and more)

Olympus filed another patent for a full frame mirrorless lens – 28mm f/1.4. Olympus has already filed other full frame mirrorless lenses in the past (28mm f/2, 35mm f/1.4). Fuji has a new patent for a Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 OIS lens.

Third Olympus patent for a full frame mirrorless lens

Olympus filed a patent in Japan for a Zuiko 24mm f/1.4 full frame mirrorless lens. Olympus Zuiko Digital 35mm f/1.4 full frame mirrorless lens patent

Few days ago I reported on a new Olympus 28mm f/2 full frame mirrorless lens patent. Today Egami spotted another Olympus patent filed in Japan for a 35mm f/1.4 full frame mirrorless lens. Just like the previous 28mm f/2, this 35mm f/1.4 lens is calculated for a sensor slightly smaller than a “real” full frame.
