
Sony filed a new patent in Japan for a FE 28-70mm f/2 lens. Here are the details:

Few days ago I reported on a new Olympus 28mm f/2 full frame mirrorless lens patent. Today Egami spotted another Olympus patent filed in Japan for a 35mm f/1.4 full frame mirrorless lens. Just like the previous 28mm f/2, this 35mm f/1.4 lens is calculated for a sensor slightly smaller than a “real” full frame.

The latest Olympus patent filed in Japan is very interesting – it’s for a 28mm f/2 full frame mirrorless lens. I guess we can now officially start the Olympus full frame mirrorless camera rumor (of course filed patents are no guarantee for future products). Additional patent information:
