Olympus to announce a new HLD-9 battery grip

Big Canon announcement on August 25th, 5D Mark IV camera price: €3,799

Canon will announce the Canon 5D Mark IV DSLR camera plus new lenses and accessories on August 25th, somewhere between 5-7 am European central time. The price of the 5D Mark IV in Europe will be €3,799 (almost $4,300, US pricing is usually lower). For reference, the 5D Mark III currently sales for 2,599 after $200 discount.

Fuji Fujinon XF 23mm f/2 R WR Asph lens leaked online

At a Fuji event in Australia Matt Granger spotted the not yet announced Fujinon XF 23mm f/2 R WR Asph lens (picture above). Expect the official announcement to be in September during the Photokina show. Via Fujiaddict

Panasonic GH3 camera listed as discontinued

The Panasonic GH3 camera is now listed as discontinued, While the GH4 model is still available, a new Panasonic GH5 version is expected to be announced at Photokina in September. The GH3 was announced back in September, 2012.
