Pentax 645D will start shipping on May 20th in Japan

According to Amazon Japan, Pentax 645D will start shipping on May 20th, 2010: The price is ¥848,000 with tax (around $9370). Amazon Japan does not ship electronics to other countries (for now the 645D will be sold only in Japan). Some other sites, like JapanTrendShop.com will probably offer shipping outside Japan for a premium.

Olympus working on E-3 replacement, promises more 4/3 cameras (mirror and mirrorless)

In an interview with AP, Olympus confirmed for the second time that they are not going to stop producing DSLR cameras (see previous post). They also confirmed that they are working on an E-3 replacement but did not specify any further details.
