Nikon Df camera officially announced

The retro-styled Nikon Df camera is now officially announced. The detailed specifications are available here, press release and other additional information can be found here. The camera body costs $2,746.96, the kit with a new 50mm f/1.8 lens is listed for $2,996.95 (more pre-order options are available here). The Nikon Df will start shipping on November 28th.

Tamron to announce a new tele lens next week

Tamron is rumored to announce a new tele lens next week, most likely on November 7th. Most likely it will be the previously rumored 16-300mm lens for APS-C DSLR cameras. Update: here is a teaser found on a Polish forum – this will be a serious lens (not the 16-300mm):
