Pentax K-3 rumored to be announced on October 8

A new Pentax K-3 DSLR camera is rumored to be announced on October 8th in Japan (Monday evening, October 7th in North America). I am still not sure if the previously leaked specifications are correct. Coincidently, Nikon is also expected to announce their new D610 camera on the same date.

What else is new?

Phase One released Capture One v.7.1.4 ($299.95). TrueSense Imaging (ex-Kodak) announced 4K Micro Four Thirds sized CMOS sensor. Ilford Imaging Switzerland (the inkjet paper company) plans to rise from financial trouble. New Nauticam underwater housing for Sony NEX-5T camera. Tokina announced a new 16-28 T3.0mm cinema lens in Japan.

Sony reassures that A mount will stay alive
